Really would like to replace the air suspension w. replacement parts, but
will probably (and reluctantly) go with the coil spring conversion. Anybody recommend a really good shock?

I've got kyb gas-a-justs in the rear, def. a good shock. Between them, the coil springs, poly upper/lower ca bushings, swaybar mounts, moog end links, addco rear bar, she handles soo much better and the rear end doesnt budge, but thats exactly what i wanted.

It really depends on what kind of ride you want.

Yeah, it totally depends on the ride you want. But I suspect you're asking about the standard conversion kit to get away from airsprings.
In that case a set of gas charged Gabriels or Monroe shocks from your local auto parts store will work perfectly. They'll come with a lifetime warranty so keep your receipt.
That's all I use with my set-up. Tbird control arms, new poly bushings and springs from a TurboCoupe... both sway bars, too. I ditched the thin MK VII front sway and lazy rear sway linkage crap.
This is now an incredibly well handling 5,000 pound auto.
Damn, that's heavy! :eek2:

Ooops.. yeah.

(and a 300 watt factory JBL amp... err, I mean 80 watts.. lol)

Thanks for the correction, ILL dude. :waving:
