what are the exact size tools I need to take out battery in 2001 ls and headlights?

Just bought a brand new battery, but I'm unsure of which size tools I need to remove the old battery. I'm also looking to remove the headlights orange reflectors.

What size tools are needed for both jobs?

I would advice against the headlights if your unsure how to change the battery...... but the terminal nuts are 8mm (IIRC)

is the bolt that holds the battery down also 8mm (i feel like it is, if its not 10mm sticks out to me)

Most auto parts stores will swap the battery for free when you buy it. That is probably your best option from what I gather of your skill level. I hope that does not sound harsh, but I would rather recommend that than have the battery get installed backwards and you be stuck with a lot of money in electrical repairs.
