so im driving around with my boy going to this party. the system is beating. then all the sudden the subs cut out. so i stop thinking its a fuse, nope the fuse was fine, so i said screw it ill wait till tomorow. so then im going to get beer and turn the car off (still have music), when i get back in the car theres nothing, no radio, cd, everythings blank, so i flip out thinking that i fried the whole HU. so no music for the rest of the night. get to this wack @$$ party stay for an hour then go to my car. SOME :q:q:q:qING MORON ripped y liscense plate off the back. brand new surround. no plate so i go file a report at 4:00 this morning. then im dropping my boy off and get pulled over for no plate. luky it was my boys sisters ex, so he just let me go.
go this morning and check all the fuses, and the radio/cell phone blew (how?). fixed that, then look at the plate and they ripped the whole screw mounts out so i cant put a plate back there. Can i get some new screw mounts or what?
Anyways just wanted to vent im hella pissed and still have no plate or no beats.

Dayum! That sucks! However, you can buy the replacement expansion nuts from the dealer. The part number is W710640-S300. They just snap into place. The only reason I know about this is that there is a TSB on it. They get loose and the license plate rattles. Once the new expansion nuts are replaced no more rattling.

check up---- the liscense plate- the screw holders, i got the ones out of my old surround and tried them, the mutha :q:q:q:qers pulled soo hard that it made the holes huge, so the factory ones wont fit
now for the good stuff---- the subs, i took em out to look at the voice coils, one of the + was dangling touching the -. so that subs gone, so i got another one that i had laying around and plugged it in, (1 xtant 1orion) played the music, and all static coming out of the subs or where the LOC is connected to. so i think while the wire hit the other it fried the amp.....Is this possible. did i just screw my whole system--- please help!!!!!!!!!

I might be abale to get close thurs night I was chillin at my friends house play NCAA 06 a little tipsy and about midnight and so I start to head out grab by cell and leave so I thought. I'm driving home got my paycheck and my paystub from my 2 jobs in my passenger seat with windows down and I have a shirt laying on top of them so they don't blow away. I get home I go look at my licence plate cover that I just put on and see if I can get theses chrome screw cab covers on at that time I know for a fact I had my checks and my phone in my hand. So I start walkin in my house got everything go in my bedroom set all my $h!t that was in my hand on my desk right next to my monotor. I wake all my Cell, and paychecks are gone. And I still don't got any of them found yet.

Last Saturday night I went out with a friend of mine to have some fun. After the bar closed we went back to my friends place to light off some fireworks, because they are fun. Any way the cops come I tell them I was setting them all off expecting to get a ticket for fireworks possesion(illegal in Iowa) but instead the cops thought they should arrest me for public intox. I had to go to jail for the first time, try to sleep on a mat wearing a tight orange suit and next to a snooring guy. I couldn't wait until nine the next morning for me to get out. I ended up with a fine totaling $380. It sucked.

I follow the same practice but still got my car keyed by this cheatin' :q I used to go out with. I came out of my office around 8PM and the lot has some bright :q security ights, I swear it is like day time. I approach my 90' 240SX, this ws back in the day before wife and kids, and I saw what I thought was snail trails all the car until I reached the hood and seen the word :q you you :qing :qhole in the hood. Nice huh...

I did get the finale laugh becasue we had security cameras wrapped around the building and on light posts. I pressed charges and sent that :q to jail for a night and got 3K for the paint job.

sorry ya had sucha :qty night man. Good catch on the wiring though.

This is most likley just the amp. Nothing should have happend to the rest of your system. The + / - of the amp put's out volt's and when they tuch it is like tuching a +/- of your car battery. Nothing good happens. Replace the amp you will be stright.

im gonna need a new sub since the little wire came off (the wire tore off)so im gonna need 2 new subs and a new amp, damn, and im broke already.
