I just got a 2001 Town Car , with 461k on the clock .
I was just smoged so I have a year + to get new Cats for it ..... but really I want to do it buy the end of April when I get my Tax refund.

so who online or whatever have the cheepest cats? I have to get 4 !!!

Holly crap thats a ton of miles. I don't think I've ever seen a car with that many miles on it.

How much do you pay for a car with that many miles on it? Is it still in good shape? How is the drivetrain at that many miles?

yes it's it good shape , rides nice
I picked it up from service shop , it came about 6 pages of service records.
Limo Co's take care of thier cars very well they spent over $2500 on repairs .

Is the car on its first engine? First tranny? That makes me feel very good about the crown vic I bought. I hope to hit at least 300k with it, if not more.

yes,as far as I know it the first engine and trans .... no smoke from the tail pipe
most of the cooling system was redone
