Well I have been having major starting issues. Basically I always hook up a booster pack without even trying.

I think its the starter. I checked voltages and they are perfect.

However, maybe the starter is working too hard?

I changed program back to stock last night. Its like a new car. The throttle response is amazing and the power is awesome. Its crazy. This is the first time I have ever set the chip to "stock".

Also the exhaust note is totally different, MUCH quieter - that baffles me.

Anyone ever have cold (outside cold) start issues with a chip?

It started right up this morning. I am going to see how she starts over the next few days. If well, the chip is OUT!

Give it a day or two in the stock position and see if the issue doesnt "come back".

your PCM is likely storing values from the adaptive learning tables...

Resetting the PCM might speed up the re-learning process.

it usually takes a few days of drive cycles to clear out and re-learn.

more than likely you issue is going to come back after the fuel tables and IAC adaptive have figured out what is going on.

doubtful it's actually a chip related issue.

There is something defiantly wrong with either the alt or battery. I am guessing its the battery and it has a bad cell, hence the right voltage reading but lack of turn over power.

Either way in the stock program the car is starting when it normally would not have. Also it does not stall when accelerating right after a cold start. It usually took a few blocks to warm up. Otherwise if you hit the gas too quick it would die. It no longer does that also.

I think I will replace the under warranty battery first.
