I have seen MANY revived posts. The only reason I posted is because I feel strongly about the subject.

There's some potential weight reduction to be done to any vehicle, just depends on how far you want to compromise safety and road noise.
Sound deadning pads throughout, there's other stuff but it gets into safety aspects.
Strictly strip run car, yes, street car, not advisable.
