water under the mirror.

After washing my 95 tc on day, i moved the outside mirrors back and noticed there was water, and rust all around the bolt that holds the mirror in. so if you have this, here is a good site for you. Also whenever i wash my car i put plastic bags over the mirrors so the water doesnt get stuck in there.

It's sad to see I'm not the only victim of this problem

You can't really stop the water from getting in there, rain etc...
but you can change the design a bit to prevent the rust and protect the inside of the door. I've also submitted the writeup to DaKat here:
