So, finally found out what was causing the anti-freeze leak, turns out it was caused from a slow leaking water pump, just wondering has anyone replaced one before? Or does anyone have any kind of directions on how to replace one on a 2002 LS v8? That would be great if anyone knows!

Dead simple.
Break loose pulley mounting nuts
Remove belt
Remove pump
Install pump (use appropriate sealer if it's a paper gasket, none if you got a metal/rubber one)
Install pulley
Install belt
Tighten pulley mounts

Maybe an hour with a beer break in the middle?

Shop around for the "improved" one with a metal impeller. readily available on eBay.
