Warranty question

I got my ls back in september and I got a 3 year/36k extended warranty on it. I finally get around to reading it since my starter broke and it says if the car has any aftermarket stuff done to it the warranty is void. You guys think that even includes a K&N filter?? I mean thats all I've done to it so far but I could just return the warranty for a pro-rated refund or I could just pop in a motocraft filter before I take it to the shop. Any advice is appreciated. thnx

To void warranty they have to PROVE that the K&N filter damaged the starter. LMAO. If they can prove that, then...... I dont know...

+ i doubt they are gonna go digging around in your intake box with the type of issue you are experiencing.
