wanted to share my progress on the bike (not lincoln related)

made a post back when i got the bike. i dunno if anyone remembers or cares. But ive been working on it latly getting it to look better.

spent 600$ on the bike (558 + tax), spent 5-6$ on marine grade vinyl to recover the seat, 8$ for the high temp exhaust paint. the rest of the work was free lol.

anyways im feeling some pride in my work and felt the need to share...

this pic just the seat is recovered and the badges taken off. exhaust is still rusty...

and painted exhaust...makes a world of difference lol

I've got an old '83 Venture Royale that I bought for $1200 at a yard sale, 17k miles, lots of fun- kinda like your deal. Bike looks good for almost no money you've spent. Good job and enjoy it.

Are those the original handgrips? They look like they're off a BMX bike!

It looks pretty good, I just put a windshield on mine. Nothing like working on a bike to get you thinking about spring.

i dont know if they are or not. the next things on the list are grips (black) and tint the windscreen. the grips are killing it lol.

Any reccomendations for grips?
