Hi,
Would want to install 96 cobra intake on my 95 LSC (AKA THE HEADHUNTER). We are installing a new stroker. What parts are necessary to do this? Is there a drive by wire kit that I could possibly use. Thanks for any help. Rick

All kinds of custom stuff. And it wont fit under the hood.
Not major problems though. Lincolns of Distinction has 1 or more good write ups on cobra intake swaps. LVC probably does as well.

Why? I thought only the Gen II benefited from such a swap. The Gen I intake really works well. IMHO, more money and time can be put into exhaust. The cars breathe really well, they just can get it out quick enough.

the 1st gen will still benefit in the high rpm range, just not nearly as much as a 2nd gen would.

Getting it to fit under a Gen1 hood is the tricky part. Youll need a cowl hood or space the sub frame and get an alignment

You'll need to modify the fuel lines, and you'll need a Cobra fuel rail, because the Marks FPR sits under where the Cobra EGR flange is, there's not enough room.
you'll also need to relocate the Cruise Control module and make a custom bracket for both cables.
