Do this asap I promise you won't regret it. I have rebuilt transmission with my dad since I was 13! The Lincoln LS v6 and v8 is an amazing car I bought one 3 months ago and love it but have to work out the kinks that the previous owner never did. I already pulled the hydraulic fan off because it was no good and put the universal black magic fan that pulls 3,300 cfm and keeps the cars cool perfectly. The big reason these transmissions which are amazing transmissions made by ford, overheat is because they tied all 3 liquids into ONE cooler and it's in between the dang air condensor and radiator so that's 10Xs worse! Looks if you don't pull your hydraulic fan and pump off like I am and still doing just have the pump to go atleast go by one HD trans cooler from any parts store but not that crappy style that squeezes the fluid through the fins just like factory coolers that clog up, they suck!! Get the one that has the big tube style that only use the fins to cool the whole cooler! Then buy 2 small universal coolers they have for the hydraulic pump and power steering pump! Separate these 3 across the front air condensor. Having these 3 lubricants in one cooler I'm sorry was a faulty design from ford. Pull out that Big crappy Stock cooler!! Keeping it in is asking to have your transmission baked all day long. I guarantee you just by doing this you will gain at least minimum 35,000 miles!!! Don't wait. All three coolers will only cost I believe 120 bucks total compared to a 2,400 transmission rebuild. Oh and I'm not completely sure but if they also put some transmission fluids to the radiator to keep it cool that's an even worse design so get rid of that and put a cooler up front for that transmission!! Message me if you have any questions or need help!

Thanks
Michael
