First quick background: I've owned my Lincoln LS for the last four years. I have done all routine maintenance and it has 74,000 mile on it. I have always followed this forum but have never joined due to the awesome SEARCH
tool.
Here’s the problem. Took the LS due to the car jerked and then popped out of gear and the check transmission light popped on. Pulled over turned car off and restarted and drove home with no more issues. Took LS to dealer very next day. A couple days go by dealer said they were having problems getting the car to run correctly. I replied, it ran fine when I dropped it off. I have a transmission problem. They then proceeded to tell that I had 3 faulty fuel injectors, 3 on there way out, and 2 ok
. So I had my car towed to a shop my wifes family trusted and He said it needed to coils. I said no problem replace them. Got the car back. It was running just like it was when I dropped it off. Driving it home and the car surged again feeling like the transmission messing up. Check transmission light came on so I pulled into Autozone and she gave me a code which was Injector output high cylinder 4. So do you guys think it could be the Injectors causing the tranny issue? By the way no check engine light.
