Do you think the dealership will take care of me here? I already replaced the passenger side vcg myself about a year ago because I didn't know that Ford had decided to cover these until 100k miles. Now my drivers side vcg is leaking, and of course I am 3k miles past the warrant period.

Thanks,
Hunter

you have a better chance hitting the lottery and using that money to pay them what they are going to quote you.. lol if you did one side, just do the other and youll be all set!:D

Haha, that is the answer I figured I would get. I'm not really happy about having to do the driver's side because there is a lot more stuff in the way and it is about 30 degrees here in Kansas City.

Thanks,
Hunter

i feel your pain, its getting cold everywhere, supposed to be in the 60s though, tomorrow up north because of a storm from down south, try to use a friends garage, or just do it on a warmer day, do you need any help with removing the things on that side? theres alot of information about the vcg

Actually last time I did it I found a nice link that showed how to do it step by step. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it and now I can't find it. If you know of one please post it. I will be doing the work in my garage...but it is still cold.lol

Thanks,
Hunter
