So i have p0012 and p0022. Iv done some digging and some potential culprits iv put together could be camshaft phasers, dirty solenoid, and a bad tensioner. (Rest have been ruled out but will still be checked)
I plan on cleaning the solenoid when i have the cover off. And iv figured out an easy way to diagnose the bad tensioner.
Im pretty sure it is my phasers tho. After some digging looks like i might have phaser rattle around 2,500 rpm. Whats an easy way to diagnose this? And i’m guessing you have too take more off than just the valve cover too replace.
