I have these in my first lincoln and they will be swaped over, mine where not a direct bolt in.
I bought the 03 cobra shocks with upper mounts and I had to modify the top part of the shock to get it to work with the stock shock mounts
It took care of my clunk. At least in the back.

yes they are out of a 03 cobra low mile not even a scratch on them came in the
boxes too

Speed Bump
Just the top of the shock to fit in a new mount, yours fit because you got rid of the rubber inside the mount for the car. I installed the new mount and modified the shock to fit.
