Well, i have been noticing a slight burning oil smell (reminding me of my old '79 Lincoln Town Boat that had 200,000+ miles on it), and thats just it, my LS reminds me of an old car that had a dent in the drivers door; and that was the only window that wouldn't roll down.
I also started noticing oil spots under the car after it sat for a while. So, upon further investigation i have found oil residue at and behind the transmission bell housing. The oil appears to be leaking from the engine where it and the trans. meet.
I can only imagine a rear main seal leak. Plus, just 2,000 miles after the last oil change and it is showing low, and as some of you know synthetic oil is not cheap!!
What do you guys think???????
