Twin Turbo LS

Wow. I left a comment for that guy to come here. I dont like the chrome stuff all over the car but the engine work is definately creative. And I would like to see the cowl hood on the car.

Somewhat off topic.

There is another guy who is in the middle of putting a 5.0 Cobra engine into his LS as well right now. He hasn't come on here yet, but he said he has been taking pictures since he started and will put together info.

Interesting to say the least. I rather dislike chevy so it loses some points there. All that god awful chrome isn't helping either, and that hood is going to do one of two things.

To the average Joe who knows nothing about an LS he is going to say "Hey, look at this douche trying to make his car look beast"

To the guy with some knowledge of a Ls he is going to say "Mother of god, what is that"

The hood and the ridiculous chrome really ruin any chance of an amazing sleeper, which is what I think this car would be best at. Personally, I would be more interested in that 5.0 swap, but hey, turbos are always cool.

I'd rather put the new Coyote into the LS than the old 5.0.

scjmc, I saw that too. I bet he's going to have to put in all new wiring, especially considering the engine has a distributor instead of running coils.

Dude, a blow-through carb setup with twin turbos... CMON MAN!

Hello, 1985? We have your fuel-delivery system here. Everyone I ever talked to said tuning forced induction with a carb is a freakin' nightmare.

This is the most head-scratchingly awesome use of old and new technology ever.

But seriously, what a freakin beast.

i dont know about all this.

all the money and time spent, those engines couldve been put into something else..
imo the LS is naturally aesthetic stock and should be kept that way. imo.

I love it, other than the non ford engine and not using EFI. i mean i under stand why not but..

it still thumbs, two of them, straight the fukc up!

For the same reason you would do it to any other car, because you like it. On top of that the car has an amazing suspension set up from the factory, it's the perfect candidate for a motor swap as the Powertrain is the weak point

If I had the money right now I could think of three different motors I would kill to swap into my LS namely a 2jz or an RB26. Typically can be had for about 2-4k with harness and tranny.
