A friend of mine was telling me that you can take a regular front sport bumper and cut out where the fog lights go and that you can mold and shape the round fog lights on the bumper so it can look like an lse bumper. He also said that you can buy the plastic to do this. Of course it would need to be painted, primed and so on, but does anybody know if this is possible and if so does anyone have pics of it being done. Thanks everyone

The LSE bumper is a totally different piece. Then again, anything can be done cosmeticly to the car... as long as you have time and money. You're better off just buying the LSE front bumper cover.

The foglight openings aren't the only differences between the "regular" and LSE bumper covers. LSE bumper covers (at least on the '03-'06 LSes) hang lower than the normal bumper cover, and they're shaped slightly differently, particularly closer to the ground. If you look at the front of an LSE next to the front of a non-LSE, the difference is immediately obvious.

This is a lot like the retrofit of the THX/Nav system; for the time, trouble, and money, you're probably better off just buying the LSE bumper.

This should be titled turning front sport bumper into lse the hard way. There's is no way you can do it for less than it would cost you to just buy the lse front bumper and have it look like the lse front even if you do all the work yourself. I know the 03+ LSE front is around 300.00. Now if you are designing a totally different front bumper then by all means go ahead

uh....

First is YOUR idea
Second...the LINCOLN idea.

Sorry, it's just paint, I don't do alot of photoshopping.
