Been a few years since I've posted anything about my 2005 LS Sport. This week was the 13 year anniversary of my purchase. The car had 76,000 miles on it and now it sits at 131,000.
Not bad for 13 years. I spent about $2,000 on it last summer having the cooling system replaced and lots of other issues addressed and still very happy with it.
My latest issue is the turn signal switch. It is intermittent at times, just stops blinking, then I move the steering wheel and starts up again. The windshield sprayer stopped working a few years ago.
Can the switch be cleaned? Is there a clock spring that can be adjusted?
Used ones seem pretty pricey.
I appreciate any input.
Thanks!
Kevin

Use Deoit D5

You can try. I have cleaned them and that did work for a while but it's not too expensive and I eventually replaced the turn signal stalk. I am also a fan of DeOxit! Good stuff but expensive.

Now that was years ago and I see Ford has discontinued that part. So used is probably the only option now. Several on EBay.

Clock springs have no adjustment and either work or they don't. Does your horn work OK? Several things go thru that. Turn signals, horn, cruise control.

But from what you posted I do think it's the stalk.
