Turbo setups on Ebay

Are these just universal Turbo setups or are they specific to the LS? It says Lincoln LS in the description, but who knows. I noticed they have them in the low price range to high price range. Anyone familiar with these?

Either way you'll have to do all the custom work for them. No turbo kit for the ls

Something seriously wrong here. The $1500+ kit has $5000-$6000 worth of hard parts. It's hard to buy any NEW turbo for less than $1000. Throw in the other listed parts and you're close to the moon!

Real question.. How long will the turbo last? I heard not long.. Some guy had one on his ranger and it lasted like 6 months then the turbo spun a bearing. I didn't see it so idk if he even had it hooked up right. But it makes you think..

Definetily a "Hack-&-Fab" kit. The turbos from these kits are the cheapest of the cheap chinese stuff. Though, on turbomustangs.com that I'm on, there have been some guys that have ran the full cheap kits on there mustangs with decent success and good horespower. More than the turbos crapping out, the problem has been the super thin walled 304 stainless piping. After a few heat and cool down cycles the piping cracks all over the place supposedly.

It would be fun to try one of these kits on a donor LS for fun.

The cheap turbos on ebay are GLUED together on the cold side scroll. NO LIE. I have seen them apart.

That is true on some of them. Also, instead of having an A/R stamping or the make on the side, it'll just say "turbo".
