tuning sound system

I have a 2001 lincoln ls with an aftermarket sysem.. i have a alpine cda9855 head unti with mb quart speakers and an 8inch polk momo sub. I know there is a way to tune the head unti.. it has all technical stuff on it like a parametric equalizer and stuff but i have no idea how to tune it.. could anyone help me out or let me know if there is a place i could go in the north jersey area to do this or anything. I could even make the settings online and send them to my headunit

Tuning

Hey, I got the same HU. Go to Alpine's I-Personalize website. There you can input the data for Time Correction, Crossovers, and EQ settings. You can also just go into the Setup menu, then click Sound, then Factory EQ-there are a lot of preset EQ curves to choose from as well as create your own. Hope that helps-This HU is amazing!

Yeah, I no about all that, but i have no idea what it means or how to do it to my needs or anything..i am totally clueless, that is what i need help with
