my trunk latch button doesn't work anymore, works on the key fob but not on the button inside the car, anybody had this problem and/or know how to fix it?

Well, it won't be the fuse, because the remote works.
I've heard of this problem on gen I. I think that every time it ended up that the valet switch in the glove box was set to valet.
If it's not that, it could be that the switch on the dash has failed.

well i appreciate the help, i definitely feel stupid in the fact that it was the valet switch, ive never touched it, didn't even know it was there, but thanks again
