Trouble Codes

I just scanned my car a 1990 Continental for trouble codes and i got a 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, and a 42 i ran the test three times and 42 only showed up once. The book that came with the scanner told me what the codes meant but i want some expert advice any help is appreciated.
