Transmission Troubles

I was driving my 94 mark viii and out of no where and for no apparent reason it just reved up and would not shift into 3rd or 4th gear. I changed the MLPS on the transmission and still have the same problem. Anyone have any other ideas of what it may be and if the alternator is not charging correctly could this cause the problem because the alternator started acting up about the same time as this problem started? I would rather try to fix the problem with the trans still in the car if possible. If this is not possible does anyone have a trans for sale that will fit this car?

What state are you in? I have a good transmission I pulled out of my 93 parts car.

there is an inspection plate under the valve body for the OD and check all the
accumulator pistons

What kind of a job is it to check the accumulator pistons and where exactly is the valve body for the OD located at? I live in Indiana. May be interested in the trans you have if I dont get this one fixed soon.

Not bad but a PITA about 20 bolts and a mess of tranny fluid if I'm not mistaken...

My '94 mark just got the same prob. Was kinda scary when it happened too.:shifty: Anyways... which one of the solenoids is specifically for drive n OD. And should i replace or clean em?
