Hey guys/gals,
Im new to the forum, but not new to forums in general. I have been lurking for almost a year now, but am finally fed up and have to ask a question..
I own a 2005 lincoln ls v6. I bought it wrecked, but have been fixing it slowly. The only thing wrong as far as the drivetrain went when i got it was the passenger side abs sensor was bad. No biggie, replaced it, and the dummy lights went away.
Fast forward to a few months ago. When going into a curve, and trying to accelerate through it, the transmission felt like it was low on fluid. I went and had the trans flushed/filled at the dealer. This seemed to cure it somewhat.
Now the problem is back. When accelerating, the traction control light flashes as if it is spinning(which it isnt), the rpms jump up, then when the car levels back out, it jerks and continues about its way.
Going straight, it hits every shift, doesnt slip, and shifts as fast as any other vehicle out there.
Sorry for the long post, but please help.
thanks in advance,
Noremac
