I just had a used tranny installed by a shop. BUt we're getting all sorts of codes and errors.
WHen placed in D5 or reverse, I get an E(error I assume) The display says CHECK TRANSMISSION and my mechanic got these codes:
p0743 TCCcircuit
P0750 solenoid A
p0755 solenoid B
p0760 solenoid C
He said he believes the electrical something in my new(used transmission) was bad...maybe got corrosion in there from being left out.
He wants to replace it with the one from my old tranny which never gave me any bad codes. Just broke down one day. So he believes all electrical components should be working fine.
Does this sound right to you guys? Does anyone reconize those codes as maybe some other problem?
The car does appear to be driveable.... in reverse it seems fine. But in drive it doesn't appear to have full power. So i don't want to drive it.
Any help on this problem is appreciated.
