It's a standard, not metric size. Also the same size as the oil dip stick o-ring. 5/8 I beleive...just take one with you to any parts store and match it up

Ok thanks. Can I possibly use the o-ring on the top of the trans dipstick or the one at the top off the engine oil dipstick.

Ok cool i'll wait til tomorrow to get the right size that one screw on the dipstick is a real pita. I hate I have to take it back off.......... Mine is leaking around the dipstick I was tryna use some permatex to stop it but is was a Fail.
Thanks alot and Merry Christmas

There are tons of screws on these cars where gear-wrenches are a near must, this is one of them. With a 10mm angle or flex head, you can get it easy from the bottom, with gear on the head, handle pointing towards trans, no problem

hell yea i found out awhile ago i brought a set from Pep Boys for $29.99 sizes 8mm-19mm.
I used a 10mm for that screw but it was still a pita and even more of a pain when i realized after i changed the o-ring. I used the wrong size and it was still leaking

I was never able to find the exact size O ring in a standard or metric kit. If the diameter is close, they are not thick enough.

Then I just got them from the dealer, they call them a seal, they are cheap and worth it, no more leaks.:)
