Transmission for sale in California

Anyone if Northern CA in need of a transmission:

I'm considering getting it myself to store for the future...
But i remember being told that the V8 and V6 trannys are different... that they will not fit. Think the bell was diffrent.
Can someone confirm this?

Also, by the model number he listed can anyone tell which it's for?
