Hi Guys,

It's time to do trasmission fluid change...which is better flush or fill?
If I do flush, what about filter and pan gasket seal?
My tranny is grinding a little when I change gears, so hopefully this will remedy the problem.

I just had mine don a couple of months ago by the dealer and they said that the filter is a non replaced item. I had never heard of this before they said it was a metal filter that does not need replacing. (i would ask your dealer if this is true) It ended up costing me like 115

Be careful if you flush. It can be dangerous with higher mileage vehicles. The pressure that the flushing puts on seals and gaskets can cause some damage... I just been draining mine every other oil change or so. I good drain will drop about 1/3 of the fluid. Keep up a good routine like me and it will be safer yet still keep a good clean oil.

no its no more sealed than any other car. i think that's a total myth.

hmm you might be right beaups i will ask the dealer about it se what kind of wacky answer he gives me this time.
