Transmission Filter and Fluid Change

If I want to change the transmission filter on a Gen 2 and drain ALL of the old transmission fluid, is the procedure below the one I should follow ?

Yep, 2 tips I don't know if in write up. Reuse your stock trans pan gasket. Its made to be used over and over, its heavy duty. Also look in my "ice ice baby" Build thread on tip to get fluid to come out of converter. Another tip I use is a large plastic trash can lid as a huge bucket back up. Fluid goes all over the place when dropping pan. Also it can be a bear getting the filter O'ring/seal unit out of the trans, its up in a bore and tight in there.

Follow that but I thought we had a re usable pan gasket
You won't get 100% if you don't flush though
I do both in my driver way
