The car has been having issues at the stoplight lately and whenever accelerating into the next gear.

It takes a while for it to kick in..usually after reaching around 2-3 rpms.

Going into second it has also had problems, reaching 4-5 rpms and then kicking in.

Then, the thing just stopped, and now sits barely moving.

You can get tit to go forward or reverse, but not past 10mph.

I drained the fluid and it was all burnt and smelly.

I had the same problem with mine twice, before going with the LincolnMotorSport's stage5 baumanator trans. At that point, I dont believe theres any turning back. Im no trans expert by any means, but thats what I have been told when mine was doing that. I wound up driving it untill it wouldnt move at all. I drove to the grocery store and it was slipping, and on the way back, I started to take off from a stopsign and it made it to about 10mph and refused to go any more, It wouldnt even hold 10mph after that. My guess is that it was a mixture of accumulator and torque converter failure.

Burnt smelling Tranny Fluid! Tranny not Working.. Tranny Toasted!!!

Start looking around for one. To replace isn't the worse job just will be a lot of work...
