Hey guys i have alittle problem, my 2001 ls sat in the bodyshop for to month without any real driving just in and out of the bay and then its been sitting in front of my house for another month waiting for the wheels and the weather, so now to the problem when i put the car from park to reverse or from reverse to drive and so on, it has like a two or three second pause where it seems to not be grabbing or something if ny of you know whatthis can be please let me know keep in mind i still havent driven the car so can it be maybe the fluids need to start flowing or something please help me out, thanks in advance.

Yeah, there's a TSB about this--there's a PCM code revision that's supposed to fix this problem. AFAIK, the only place to get it is your friendly local Lincoln (or Ford) dealership. An SCT (XCal/etc) tuner might be able to help, but I'm guessing the dealership is going to be the less expensive route for this fix.
