Torrie SCT XCal2 Tunes Experience

After doing a search here and on another form I decided to get a SCT tuner and decided on SCT XCAL2 based on my needs(Thanks Quick LS), from Torrie @ fastpartsnetwork.com. Received the unit and was trying to load tunes but the car would not start. Tried three times; e-mailed Torrie and got an immediate response. He diagnosed the problem as PCM re-flash and sent me new tune.

Perfect!

Now he is writing two other new tunes for e-mail down load.

This was today, the 4th of July! ----4th OF JULY.

Yep. Torrie has sent me several tunes and has always been very quick to reply to questions and requests. That's why when I've purchased items for my LS, I go with vendors that have great customer service and great history. Torrie for the Xcal2 and Ken at LSK for everything else.

Where would the code be for the computer?? I have a v6 and have thought about getting one. Also where would be the best place to get a KKM cold air kit?

Torrie gets the code from your VIN # and the SCT Xcal2 can read it from your auto. The Xcal2 plugs into your OBDII port under the dash right of the steering column. My PCM re-flash # was on an added sticker under the hood.

You are fortunate that they added the new sticker. My shop did not because they assumed that only dealerships "really" needed to know the flash version and their computer always revealed the version. I agree that Torrie's service is beyond extraordinary.
