Thats the question. I'm debating if i should just run and sell my ballasts and bulbs before they take a crap so i can end up on top money wise before they fail..They have 126k on them and im not sure if they've ever been replaced, Though they still burn blue.......

Opinions?

Well, in my opinion, you buy a new halogen set from Ford then sell your set complete. You will make good money off the used set to off-set the purchase of the halogen kit.

Then with the halogen kit you will be more open to HID conversion options and not "locked in" as you were for replacements! :D

I know they are hard to come by, but will people really pay a fortune for 11 year old HID lamps with 126K on them? I see them on E-bay, but jeeze, if they are going to die anyday, seems like a waste.

True, but i'd rather pay 300 for the after market set then 5-6-700 for the oem set.Not willing to shell out the bucks on this car that much.

When searching on ebay it didn't seem asthough there was alot of discription on the milage of the bulb. This car was a travel car for the first 3-4 years at 100k(1st owner). Then was a weekend car from the gentelman i bought it from. He had it for 6 years and only put 16k on it...I'm sure there fine and didn't see the normal use of a car it's age.
