TMC Module

That's because there is no communication between the PCM and tnransmission.

Disconnect the electrical plug to your EGR valve. Then go to the fuse box and check for a blown fuse for the EGR.

Fuse box is at the passenger foor near the door. You will see a small cover. The cover is labled on the inside.

I think (but am not sure) that it will be fuse #20... but again... everything is labled.

So, is this asking about a Transmission Control Module (TCM, not TMC)?
The LS does not have a separate TCM. The engine and transmission are both controlled by the PCM.

I assumed so Joe... and this sounds just like a previos thread where the EGR fuse blew... and killed communications to the trans.

IIRC... the EGR shares the same fuse. Unfortunately... that thread was lost during the website issues. (I think)

Well I found it. I didn't go back far enough the first time.

This sounds slightly different from my issue. My car drove even after the fuse tripped. In the end after disconnecting the EGR my car drove up until I sold it. Mike, I have a spare seemingly OEM solenoid pack that I held onto If you happen to be near the Dayton Ohio area, not sure this will help or not.
