tire size on hub swapped cars?

What are you guys running. I would like to have a taller tire to fill the wheel well a bit more. Right now I have 275/40s on my 03 cobra wheels. I know theres a few guys that ran 03's. let me know what size tire you had.

ive got 255 45 17s on my cobra rs they are only an 8 inch wheel tho. I get rear rubbing over bumps when lowered. I still want to see more pictures of your wheels

I am running 285/40ZR18s on a 9" wide wheel. I think you can run a wider wheel, but I havent tried. I am not too sure how tall of a tire you can run. I had 20s once with 275s on the rear and very little rubbing and those filled the wells!!

im running 275/35 18's on my 03 cobra 9 inch rims, but i wish that i had more tire. They are just a little to low profile for my taste and the ride really suffers. I'm not sure if you already have your rims, but mine are in the 03-04 backspacing and they stick out a little. If you get the fox body mustang backspacing the sit tucked in like they are supposed to. Even with my skinny tires mine will rub in the back if im cruising and hit a large bump.
