I need 2 rear tires(couldn't resist V8 power) and I have the 17 inch factory wheels 245/45/17. What tires are you guys running? Any thoughts on Hankook K104s? TIA.

Im running 245/45/17 from Sumitomo..........the price is good and they seem to be working just fine. Mine were 140/tire.

Well currently i replaced the firehawks with some cooper z rated tires , can't remember the name of the series of tires, but i do notice they don't ride as stiff as the firehawks do a little more quieter on the hightway too. I am thinking i may go back to the firehawks though the police cars in the town i live all use firehawks on the cars and they seem to handle well and have a decent tread life too..

I ran the Hankook Ventus K104's for about 8,000 miles. It was a great tire until about 5,000 miles and it sounded like a 4X4 inside the car. Also, they wore fairly quickly. If you can afford it I would highly recommedn the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.

I'm running those Pilots. Great Tire. No such thing as too much rain and true high performance in the dry.

I had a set of BFGoodrich G-Force KDW, and then got a set of Kuhmo 712. I like the Kumho more, and the price was almost half of the BFG's. I have yet to hydroplane with either of those. The stock firehawks are another story. The BFG and Kuhmo were 235/45/17

:I They cost a mint but well worth it.

Kumhos are a decent performance tire, But the ones I had on my old Cobra lasted about 10,000 miles is all. They were Z rated tires. Just not worth it for the mileage I received. I went with the Michelins on the LS. Decent performance and great mileage. A hair noisy though.
