I already did the lower control arm bushing on the driver's side and the previous owner had just replaced the passenger side lower control arm before I bought it. They appear to be OK. I have already done sway bar links and wheel hubs.
So there's this complete dump of an auto parts place near me. It's like walking into a third world country but the guy has great prices. Anyone from the twin cities area who works on cars has hear of "Dirty Dave's" AKA St Paul Park Auto.
The quality appears to be good too. The upper control arms are from McQuay Norris which I believe is the same as Duralast. The control arm looked pretty nice when I took it out of the box. The funny thing is, it is stamped "TRW".
The outer tie rod ends are also McQuay Norris. The inners, he went in back and pulled some dusty boxes off a shelf. They look OK though. I can't recall the brand; they are still in the trunk.
Total cost: $228!
$60 each for the uppers
$34 each for the outers
$13 each for the inners
