So I've still got that ticket noise I've been complaining about/trying to solve for over a year now. It's been acting up a lot more lately and I took it in again to see if my mechanic can find it.
Well he's telling me that it sounds like it's coming from the oil pain/transmission area. I'm going to check it out myself tomorrow morning to see exactly what he's telling me.
My question is have any of you had a terrible ticking sound that increases and decreases with throttle that was related to the transmission? A buddy at work here says a selenoid could make that kind of noise.
