all i need to know is where i can get the bulb that is on the flip down visor mirror. i've looked at my manual and it says that it's a E9SB-13465-BA. i have no idea what that means. if anyone can identify this bulb on http://superbrightleds.com it would be much appreciated.

I just went out to check... I can see they are festoon type bulbs, but I'm afraid of breaking the cover when I open it. Have you taken your's apart? If so, snap a pic, and I'll see what I can do.

no problem... if you can, take a pic with it next to a ruler or tape measure so I can get an idea of scale. Oh, and let me know exactly what you did to pry the cover off. I see there's like 3 slots to fit a screwdriver. I don't think the 2 holes directly over the bulbs are for removal procedure. They might be to vent some of the heat that those bulbs produce.

ok on the actual bulb itself it says 14V01A-BLC. here are the pics. the 2nd one is of it compared to the led's we have in our cars Pete. i had one lying around. also, i find it weird that it doesn't seem like the actual bulb is burnt for some reason. i pried the plastic off at the ends rather than the middle and did it with a tiny flat head that was for eyepieces i think

smart, forgot the pics, lol

a lot of old school dome bulbs look like AGC fuses, i dont think i have ever seen a LED bulb that would fit, you might have to make somthing for it.

They do have a LED for it I ran into it on some website and saw it. I think it's the same site you mentioned above but i'll get into it again and guide you to it

OK Rick... after searching, the closest bulb in there is a festoon bulb to match bulb style 3022. The similar kind to what we put in the dome light, but smaller obviously. The 3022 bulb is a hair shorter than the bulb that's in there now, but I think it's long enough to make the contacts. I leave the final decision up to you, but that's what I found...

Lots of replies for such a quick question.

That is one weird looking bulb Rick ( the second ). Thats for the dome lights?

No, the bulb for the dome lights are style 212. They have metal caps at both ends, but are quite a bit bigger and have an actual coiled filament inside IIRC. I actually pulled the bulb out of my visor and went down to OReilly's to match it up. They didn't have an exact match, but the 3022 was damn close.

the second one is a regular 194 (well not regular) 12 led bulb. this particular one is a white one that i had lying around. the ones in my car (doors, and kick panels) are blue

OK, it was hard to make out with the desk or what ever it is sitting on. Maybe I drank to much last night but now I can make out the end better.

I have just the simple looking wedges for my interior.

If you think you wanna sell those cheap since you don't use them let me know, I got ripped on my wedge based interior bulbs and they aren't that white like I wanted.

all i have is one lying around, but on the flip side, you can always get them cheap from superbrightleds.com and the output is incredible. i tried the white one in my kick panel just to see the difference and it was much brighter than my blues (obvious) but over the stock it was a complete night/day situation. i posted the list of things i bought from them and also the price here

Rick just find on SuperBrightLeds.com the Festoon Bulbs that replaces 212
and find the size that is atleast close because how the fixtures are built they
have room for 1/4 inch smaller and larger bulbs. As long as it's in there it's in
there and if you search and search for the right size it might turn out that
they don't make LEDs for them. I don't know, whatever choice you wanna
make......

thanks guys, i will keep you guys posted. another question, if one bulb is out will the other still work? are they independent? when i got my car they were both out so i do not know. the weird part is that they dont' look burnt. i think i might just swap out the ones on my pass side and see if in fact my drivers side does work.

Yes the other one will work if one is removed. And Rick, I had the bulb in hand when I went to oreilly's. The 212 is way too big. I think the 3022 should work.

And Cobrastar, I agree with you that as long as you meet both contacts, it will work. The problem with the 212 is they are considerably larger in both length and diameter, and the location in the visor is pretty cramped. I seriously doubt you could even get the clear cover back on.

well guys, had some extra time today and i swapped out the bulbs and it turns out it's not the bulbs but something else. that something else i have no idea what it is. does anyone know if there's a fuse specifically for the one driver visor lights? if not, i'm SOL.
