This guy is crazy

i wanna see the finished product.

is he redoing his WHOLE dashboard!!!
 
All of that work and according to pic 49 he still hasn't replaced one of his filters. I get the same computing power my car almost every day - my laptop. But, I would like to see pics of the finished product. He has some cajones.
 
Incredible imagination!! I am very impressed! I would love to see the finished product. And he's doing it outside in a driveway!!!

But did you notice he stuck that scungy old carpeting back in???
 
Technically what he is doing isnt all that hard if your good with wood and fiberglass, its just alot of work. Unless he is really skilled its gonna look like ass. From those pics i am going with the "ass" route.
 
I guess he is just trying on stuff that's why the old carpet is there.

yea i would like to see the finished product hey JUMPMAN6235 if yoiu know hm invite him to this site so he can tell us exactly what his plans are and also so we can ask him has he done this before..

I think you're being a bit harsh on the guy. Not many would have his imagination or the skills to pull it off.

If you were to go to the best body shop in the world and look at a repaired car before it went to the paint booth, it would look "ass" as you say. It's the final touch (paint in this case) that makes it look gorgeous and is the definitive verdict on how everything previous was accomplished. Until then, it's not fair to judge how or what it looks like. Let's wait and see the finished product before we judge, ok?
 
okay I give up WTF is this dud trying to do besides prove that he can disassemble his dash.
I see lots of plywood mockups and nothing I would want to see in my car.
 
hes doin the Lincoln Continental Concept look with the center dash goin all the way to the back seats.. its looks like it will look pretty cool when hes done, but like sum1 else said, why? looks like too much work for not really much of a change... it looks like to me he disassembled everything just to make a bracket for his 'carputer'... i applaud him for his work tho, and who knos, he might be just gettin started, and could end up with sumthing amazinggg.. whoever knos this dude, keep us updated, im verrry curious wut he has up his sleeve, if anything..
 
hey those air vents look just like the ones in moms mustang?... I would like to see what it looks like when its all done......Props to the guy I could never do it or anyone I know...... If he pulls it off he is damn good....
