Thinkin about gettin xcal..

So what do I need to know? How/where do you install it? This will be my first attempt at doing something like this so I just wanna know everything I can. I've done searches on this but nothing that really answered my questions some feedback on this thing would be great. Also where do you guys recommend getting it from?

It plugs in to your OBDII port just under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel.
