These DTC's possibly related?

P0420- Catalyst efficiency low, bank 1
P1299- Cylinder head over temp protection active.

This came up after putting a bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner in and filling up the tank.

Idk if they are related, but maybe cats going bad?

Yeah, I'm hoping that its getting a bad reading because of the fuel treatment. But if it is clogging up, that could then again cause the head temp to get a hotter than normal reading. And its an excuse to just cut the f***er out

They make stuff to work around a missing cat. I've used them before on a Ranger, cant imagine its would be as cheap for the Lincoln tho

The O2 spacer or whatever.. You could also tune it out with the SCT

Yep... But then again, I dont get the final say on how it gets fixed. Thats the Misses department. I just get stuck doing the dirty work. I wear the paint in the family, she just picks them out
