Hello everyone here, I would like to share the story about my 2001 Lincoln LS.

The 2001 Lincoln LS was owned by my Grandfather who bought the car since day 1. He got all the paperwork, receipts, window sticker and documentation about the car till to this day. I had a good 2 years of taking care of the car while i was living in his house, like cleaning the car etc... I was dreaming about the car, it is so nice, black exterior, tan leather interior with wood grain panels in the dash. The car drives so smooth and comfortable, always kept in the garage and hardly ever seen the road nor the rain. The unfortunate day came in the year of 2009 he passed away ( we miss him). My uncle continued my grandfather's legacy, he kept the car in the same manner like my grandpa did (very nice :):D)

One day (February of this year 2011), my uncle talked about me keeping the car, he shipped the car from Colorado to Texas and it was delivered in my driveway. My mind was just WOW WOW WOW!:eek::eek: is this true that my grandpa's car that I used to clean, drive and dream about it is right here in my drive way now? He sent all the paperwork and documentations about the car to me.

Now She, The Lincoln L,S is sitting nice in my garage and only driven it occasionally. I have a work car that i drive to work everyday, and the Lincoln LS is kept nice and not driven everyday as a daily driver. Thank you so much Grandpa and Uncle for trusting me to keep the car. I will keep her in good shape, and I can accomplished that due to me being a member of LVC forums. Thanks for all the loyal members of the LVC and continued sharing of any information about our beloved Lincoln LS. more power to all and take care.

Attached below is some pics of the car and looking forward to future mods.

Me either, that's why I ordered my rims the first day I got my LS. Sold the stock rims with good tires for $100 just to get rid of them. Couldn't stand even looking at them.

welcome! grandpa had good taste in cars, before all the problems were know about these lol... You have the best color so get some nice rims on there and show her off!

Thank you for the compliments, looking forward to learn a lot of stuff here. also the car has 80,300 miles on the clock, never had any accident nor body repair. I will surely participate here, and looking for a future mods soon. :-)
