when i installed the manual valve was I suppose to have the car in nutural? is the end of the valve suppose to be touching the pin on the gear selcter thing with the teeth on it? ( the thing that the tension roller holds in place? ) I think you know what Im talking about.
 
well in neutral and lined back up the way it was when it came off hehe.

You can guage wich notch is for which gear with it assembled and the pan off.

Its hard for me to explain.

the other thing is the trans range sensor. It has two lines on it that indicate neutral, little has marks, the inner ring of the sensor has to be lined up with the hash marks then put on the shaft while the trans is in neutral.

Did you get it worked out ok?
 
Ok

I will just put it in N then push the Valve untill it touchs the pin and see what happens,and if that dont work I will put it in park and push the Valve untill it hits the pin.
