just want to thank Mike for sending me diaghrams earlier this year when I ask for help on a rattle in my 96 Mark VIII. He suggested that it was sway bar or sway bar end links and sent me pictures after a trip to his garage to get his books. I finally got money and took car to mechanic and told him what I thought it was, sure enough, the sway bar end links were completely worn and about to break. No more rattle, it is wonderful.
