I tried searching, but couldn't find any matches, so sorry in advance if this has been covered. There is someone around me selling there 15" rims from a taurus, which I was thinking of purchasing to use for snow tires. Any one know if they will work? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but not sure about the offset.

Thanks, Craig

lol, never even thought about that. Any one else want to confirm that?

If not, I will try to find some 16" ls rims. I just called one guy, and he just sold them yesterday for $60 :(

so if I find 16" taurus rims, those will work?

Thanks for the heads up. Really sick of not having winter tires, and would rather just have spare rims for the winter.

lol...so does any one else have any input on what other stock rims from other cars might fit on the ls? Looking for the cheapest option available, and would definitely like to go smaller for better snow performance.

I've never bought rims before so some of the stuff doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. If I get a 16" that is say 6.5" wide, what should I be looking for for the offset?

My car has the 17" 5 spoke.

I was told (from this list, never confirmed it) the Taurus 16 inch will not clear the brakes.

16 inch stock should be cheap.
