Anybody running synthetic transmission fluid?

A good portion of normal transmission fluid is synthetic anyway, I just want to know if anyone has switched to full synthetic in the LS. And if so have you had any improvements or any problems afterward?

The OEM MERCON V ATF is a premium, full synthetic automatic transmission fluid used in the Lincoln LS from the factory.

Ahh, good to know. Thanks for the info.

Ya bastahd! You've got my favorite car! :p A Marauder was my first choice before the LS, just couldn't pull together enough cash to afford the one I wanted.

Those Marauders are cool ass cars! Pretty hard to find one as well....

They're probably the next LS. The prices are coming down and a lot of the cars are already in service for 5 years now.

One of the members just put his up for sale on the motor city marauder forum, out of Valdosta GA, low miles, headers, 4K miles on his Trilogy Eaton SC, 18K. These things are starting to become available and affordable.

Thanks. This July makes 6 years with mine. It's been superbly reliable and I hope I still have it in another 6 years.

Oh I was so pissed. Ive wanted one of those since they came out. We got an 03 Black on Black traded at work with 17k miles on it. Used car manager said he'd sell it to me for $17,500. Absolutely beautiful car, but I couldn't get enough money for a decent down payment. And theres no way I could afford the $400/month payments I would have had to make to get it, so I had to pass on it. :( And now every time I see one I die inside with envy!

I think before long those will be just like the 94 - 96 Impalas. They'll stop depreciating due to their rarity and the demand of the original muscle car crowd.
