i have no heat coming from the passenger side no matter what settings I mess with I just cant get heat to come out, driver side works great and ac is fine on both sides.

ok... I have no heat at idle... But I think I solved it.... Coolant is low, and probably needs a bleed.

That could be your thermostat stuck open too I believe, not 100% sure though. If you haven't changed that I would try.

I get heat @ cruising speed though...
Thermostat was replaced when the dealer put the new Lincoln replacement engine in, about 45,000 miles ago....

or it could be your aux pump, the aux pump supplys extra pressure to the coolant system when the car is at idle, until the motor gets the RPM's back up and the water pump can do its own job.

Per joegr, the V6 does not have an auxiliary coolant pump.

Confirmed with LS Shop manual... Aux pump is 3.9 only.

Link that I posted is the gen1 cooling system section of the shop manual... which also shows the "3.9 only" comment.

I'm going to add coolant and bleed it tonight and see if that fixes the problem...
